This immersion is not trauma-informed in nature and involves significant time alone and in silence with advanced practices.

What to Expect:

  • Simplicity & Discipline: Embrace a humble and disciplined lifestyle during the training.

  • Community & Support: Live and learn with like-minded practitioners in a supportive ashram environment.

  • Authenticity: Experience classical Kundalini teachings in their purest form, guided by experienced instructors.

Prepare to embark on a transformative journey into the SELF with the support of your guides.

The initiation into Classical Kundalini that Bholānāth and I experienced 12 years ago profoundly altered our lives, shifting our professional, spiritual, and personal trajectory in unimaginable ways.

Through gentle yet powerful practices, we experienced profound spiritual growth and discovered a deeper, truer knowing of the Self that we have since shared with thousands of others.

This initiation is an invitation to a transformative awakening that nurtures and elevates every aspect of your life. It is ‘rigorous’ due to the external quiet and internal processing, offering an intensity that opens a new door to yourSelf, distinct from Western notions of ‘intensity’.

It is our honor to now hold YOU in this initiation.

Classical Kundalini from the Adi Nath Shiv + Akhanda Lineage

Classical Kundalini from the Adi Nath Shiv lineage is a profound and ancient spiritual tradition rooted in the teachings and practices of the Nath yogis, who trace their lineage back to the legendary sage Adi Nath. This lineage emphasizes the awakening and harnessing of Kundalini energy—a powerful spiritual force believed to reside at the base of the spine.

Key Elements of Classical Kundalini from the Adi Nath Shiv Lineage:

  1. Kundalini Awakening:

    • The central focus is on awakening the dormant Kundalini energy and guiding it through the chakras (energy centers) to achieve spiritual enlightenment.

    • This process involves various techniques, including asanas (postures), pranayama (breath control), mudras (hand gestures), bandhas (body locks), and dhyana (meditation).

  2. Tantric Philosophy:

    • The teachings are deeply intertwined with Tantra, emphasizing the union of Shiva (consciousness) and Shakti (energy).

    • It involves the integration of body, mind, and spirit, aiming to transcend ordinary consciousness and achieve a state of union with the divine.

  3. Discipline and Sadhana:

    • Practitioners are expected to follow a disciplined lifestyle, including daily sadhana (spiritual practice) and adherence to ethical principles.

    • The practices are rigorous and require dedication, including prolonged periods of meditation, silence, and celibacy.

  4. Sattvic Living:

    • A sattvic diet, which is pure, balanced, and harmonious, is encouraged to support the spiritual practices.

    • Living in accordance with the principles of purity, simplicity, and non-violence is emphasized.

  5. Ashram and Community Living:

    • Training often involves living in an ashram or a communal setting where shared responsibilities and communal living foster a supportive environment for spiritual growth.

    • The environment is designed to minimize distractions and focus on the spiritual journey.

The Classical Kundalini Practice brings:

  • Self-Realization: Achieving a profound understanding of one's true nature and the unity of all existence.

  • Spiritual Enlightenment: Awakening to higher states of consciousness and realizing the divine within.

  • Transformation: Experiencing deep personal and spiritual transformation through disciplined practice and self-exploration.

Classical Kundalini from the Adi Nath Shiv lineage is not merely a set of techniques but a comprehensive spiritual path that requires dedication, discipline, and a deep commitment to inner transformation. It offers a profound and transformative journey towards spiritual enlightenment, guided by the wisdom of the Nath yogis and the timeless teachings.

Things to consider…

The CLASSICAL KUNDALINI TEACHER TRAINING is an intense and immersive experience designed to delve deeply into the classical practices of Kundalini within the Adi Nath Shiv lineage.

Unlike many of our SoulWork trainings, this is NOT a Trauma Informed experience for you as a participant. Meaning - you will be expected to stick with the discipline of the program or remove yourself from it. We won’t have the SoulWork typical invitations to participate, etc and still have the option for certification.

This is an initiation.

Here’s why this training isn’t trauma-informed:

Extended Silence and Solitude

  • Silence: You will spend significant periods in silence, which can be challenging if you are actively healing from trauma, as it may bring up unresolved emotions without immediate external support.

  • Solitude: There will be ample time spent alone, encouraging introspection and self-reflection, which may not be suitable if you need a more interactive and supportive environment during your healing process.

Advanced Practices

  • Intensity: The practices included in this training are advanced and require a reasonably stable mental and emotional state. They are designed for those ready to dive deeply into their spiritual journey

  • Self-Exploration: You will be invited to explore deeper layers of yourself, which can be intense and potentially triggering if you are still in the early stages of trauma recovery.

Discipline and Structure

  • Rigorous Schedule: The training follows a strict schedule with disciplined routines, which might be overwhelming if you are still working through trauma and might need a more flexible and accommodating approach.

  • Ashram Guidelines: Adherence to ashram guidelines, including celibacy and specific dietary restrictions, requires a level of discipline and commitment that might not align with your needs if you are actively healing from trauma.

  • Focus on Self-Discovery: The emphasis is on self-discovery and spiritual development rather than providing a therapeutic environment for trauma healing.

Environment and Community

  • Shared Responsibilities: You will share responsibilities and live in humble accommodations, which require a communal and cooperative spirit. This setting might be challenging if you need personal space and a more private, individualized approach during your healing journey.

  • Authentic Immersion: The focus is on a traditional ashram experience, which might not provide the safety nets needed if you are navigating trauma recovery.

This training is designed for those who are ready and able to handle a rigorous, introspective, and disciplined approach to deepening their spiritual practice. It is essential to evaluate your current mental and emotional state and consult with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns about your readiness for such an intense experience.
